Operational Purchaser
We are now looking for an Operational Purchaser who wants to take an important role in material supply and contribute to an efficient flow from customer order to delivery.
Montex is an assembly company that has been around since 1993. The company, which has 29 employees, operates about 15 minutes outside of Karlskrona and currently has a turnover of approximately 140 million SEK. We manufacture everything from less complex assemblies in electronics and mechanics to technically advanced products, both large and small. Our customers are primarily in the medical technology and industrial sectors, both in Sweden and abroad. We are now looking for a new colleague to our purchasing team, which currently consists of 8 people.
About the Role
As an Operational Purchaser, you will be part of our purchasing team where each purchaser has their own area of responsibility. You will work with customer orders (order placement, order follow-up, and delivery monitoring) as well as with purchase orders to ensure that production has the right materials when needed. You will work closely with strategic purchasing, the quality department, and production, contributing to stable and efficient processes throughout the value stream.
Your Responsibilities
- Receive and register customer orders and monitor deliveries to customers
- Place, follow up, and monitor purchase orders within your area of responsibility
- Maintain active contact with suppliers to ensure the right quality and delivery times
- Collaborate with production on changes in needs and forecasts
- Work on inventory optimization and participate in inventories
- Monitor and manage price deviations
- Participate in improvement work within the purchasing and order process
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in operational purchasing and/or order administration from industry, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Is accustomed to working in business systems, preferably Monitor G5 or equivalent ERP systems
- Has good structure and enjoys having many points of contact at the same time
- Communicates clearly and builds good relationships both externally and internally
- Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment when required
Meritorious
- Experience from the manufacturing industry
- Understanding of technology
